Hey! Have you ever wondered how to narrow down your vendor professional to the perfect match to your day? Here are a couple of questions and things to consider when you’re choosing your vendors for your perfect day!
1. Value - How Does your vendor add value to your wedding?
I add value to your day by being early, sometimes staying late, being organized and staying on top of the priorities that has been set forth by you (the couple). I am your number 1 (Or number 2) source of information and consultation when it comes to what you should do and what you decide to do, what works and what doesn’t. Right off the bat, your timeline is important to know how to map out your day based on what you’re priortizing and what’s important to you, not all timelines are the same, so its important to consult with your vendor on whats important to you in order to create a custom pricing.
2. Comfort and Ease of Communication
I’m easy to talk to, easy to change, and willing to give you my two cents so that you are the most informed before making a decision. If you have an idea, i’d love to create the feeling for that idea. If you find that Texting me is the easiest form of communication, by all means, send me your anxious texts so I can tell you that I’ll help you through a challenge. Your vendor should be easy to talk to, and easy to work with and on the ball - there will be plenty going on that day.
3. Plays well with others
As a photographer, Sometimes we’ll lead the day, and often times when reception hits, the timeline drafted out becomes more in the hands of the MC/DJ for formalities, Caterer/Venue for Dinner Formalities. A lot of coordination happens and being able to play well with everyone is KEY to a successful day. I make sure I’m coordinated with whoever is running the show, if that’s the coordinator - I’m coordinating with them before hand on and on the day of, if i’m helping running the show from the beginning, i’m coordinating between the person who’s also TYPE A and organized and their helpers (Maid/Matron of Honor/Best man, etc.).
4. What do you get in the end?
