Takk House + Troy NY Wedding | Corey and Kevin | Jay Zhang Photography

On THIS day in July, It was a hot day - Ironically enough we were all worried there would be rain so we were first coming up with a rain plan - then as the days got closer, it was definitely NOT going to rain. Instead, Mother Nature said “Let there be sun” and TONS of it. It was a hot and humid day, thank goodness for AC at the Marriott Troy and Takk House because we took advantage of all the cool interiors as much as possible.

They were both just ready to get the day going, nervously fussing over getting ready with each other and having some silly laughs and moments. They flirted in public and even continued their silliness throughout the day UGH I was in love with today even if it was amazingly sweltering. They were brave enough to venture outside for a couple of photos but they especially wanted photos on the Russell Sage Downtown Troy Campus. You could tell me: these two aren’t a cute, sarcastically funny, compassionate lovey dovey people and I’d say you were WRONG. Exhibit A-Z, all of these photos.

With the Takk House having AC, This was the perfect venue to have a Hot and Humid day ceremony to keep guests from sweating in the July sun - Instead, guests were nicely cool and refreshed (If I do say so myself!). Also, Corey said he wouldn’t cry, and my God, when he started tearing up, SO DID I. Couldn’t help myself. Once the tension of having ceremony was over, the FUN was REALLY going to start now! We even got to get up on the Roof to catch the storm as it rolled into town for their Wedding day. It really was just a great day.
