David and Joe have been WAITING for this moment. Two people who are both loving and caring and genuinely nice people have finally met each other and have decided to combine their lives. Even if their lives have been intertwined for quite some time, its through this momentous moment that these two were joined officially. These two who have been put together, let now one asunder.Read More
Darcy and Jonathan are both tabletop RPG nerds and fantasy buffs who were destined to be together. If you don’t even understand any of those things, you better start learning because we’re going to throw some D-20’s up in this blog and slay some dragons. Having met while working at a summer camp while also nerding-out together, they decided to make the theme to their wedding “Hobbits Go to Summer Camp” which based on all their details, made their day identified to them SO Well. It was a hot summery day, the sun was out, the people were smiling and they were both super nervous and excited.
They didn’t want to do a full first look, but they did want to do some sort of first look, soooo we did a super emotionally charged NOT First look, but hand holding and hugging, and crying definitely ensued. Blindfolds and crying, and sniffling, definitely a tear jerking moment.
It was the perfect day.

Erika and Alex are SO adventurous. Let me just say this to all my upcoming couples, BE ADVENTUROUS, take the little bit of a risk for your photos. I always try to keep my clients safe, dry and clean but sometimes you just gotta trust me a little to get some amazing shots! These two were up for anything, I am so grateful because Kristen and I scouted the site early on and found some great spots for photos. It was raining that day and you know the old adage about rain… its wet, I mean good luck on your wedding day 😅😅😅.
There’s an old saying that rain is lucky on your wedding day because when you tie the knot on your wedding day and it rains, the knot itself is harder to untie. Think about that for a second ;-)
Ready to see some adventures?

When I think about happiness and love and what couple’s are like when they are at their best together, I think about couple’s like Karissa and John. They laugh together, and I mean they laugh A LOT, they worry about the important things together, having fun, spending time, being happy and loving life. I am so lucky to find people like these two because they make sessions fun, because they keep things REAL with REAL happiness. We had SO much fun that day playing around in the beautiful urban setting and setting sun, and they hardly even noticed all the people just walking right through.
Brooklyn Bridge is ALWAYS packed with people, especially during sunset time and its hardly a wonder why some couples feel unsure about getting photos in these locations because there are so many families there enjoying their day at the park. However, we were in our own little world, and I love that about the city sometimes - we could be entrenched in the middle of a bunch of people, and because everyone is different, nothing is surprising. They felt comfortable just being in love.Read More
Katie and Ryan are very sweet, they are down to earth and they are so chill. They're both super beauties and I don't think they know it (But sometimes though Katie definitely shows that she KNOWS she's beautiful - aint that right? Cause you are, Flaunt it girl.) They are definitely well prepared and easy going people who just love being together. They love their life, they love their dog, and they love each other. I can't say how much more full they are with love from all over, and its pretty cliche but they got their stuff together, and this wedding is going to be gorgeous! I can't wait for their day (even though I say that for everyone, its true!) They let me be creative and be inspired and I can't wait to give them something inspiring for their day in 2019 :-)Read More
These two have been waiting and waiting and WAITING for this day, with complicated situations barring the logistics of the event actually happening, it was FINALLY the day that these two got to tie the knot with each other. It was a beautifully happy day with these two beautiful women who just so badly wanted to be together and with each other. I don't know these two outside of them being together, but from what I've heard, they are the happiest they have ever been since they have been together, and all I wanted to do was document their happiness together. There was just so much love during this day. They were surrounded by family members who they wanted to share their day with, and the love that exuded the room was overwhelmingly heart warming. I'm pretty sure it was the perfect day for them, and i'm sure they'd want to do it again if they could!Read More
Michelle and Gina are what most comfortable couples are like, easy going and don't take anything too seriously when it comes to making each other laugh. Ironically, they had just had a small argument prior to them being at the engagement session, which of course I took the oppertunity to start making it awkward. Those who have ever been in relationships know that the last thing you want to do when you're angry at your significant other is be close to them at all. Well, when you're with me, and you just had an argument, I'm dumping you right into the fray, Kisses, snuggles, and awkward stares galore. The thing I admire most about this couple is their honesty to each other, and their unapologetic love for each other.Read More
Anna and Kirstie are private people, which for more intimate photos can be a small challenge, but once Anna was giving a million kisses and warming Kirstie up, it was game time and love just shown through. We took a couple of photos within the apartment that they are leaving for Philadelphia with their dog and cat. Excuse the excessive animal photos. We moved through Astoria Park and eventually ended up at LIC Landing for a beautiful skyline. Smart, easy going, and dedicated, they would go the extra mile for the other in a heartbeat.Read More
"Today, tomorrow, yesterday, and last week,
Forever and always it's your heart that I seek."
Karla and Brian have this look they give each other as if they fall in love with each other over and over again. Both teachers of movement, one dance, the other track, one about elegance and finese, the other about strength and precision. They have this energy about them the entire session that I just fell in love with as they easily fell into one another and just laughed, and continued to laugh and smile. It was a good day. I can't wait until Novemeber! Come sooner pleaseee!Read More
I don't think there could've been any better way to describe Tina and Tyler's Love for each-other except through their blizzard message: "If kisses were snowflakes, I'd send you a blizzard". I can surely confirm, that it definitely snowed. Despite everyone's best efforts, it wasn't going according to plan, but it didn't diminish the importance, and the memories Tina got to share with her little girl. Sophia is probably THE most important thing to Tina and Tyler, and being able to share their day with their little girl, was something that they would never change for the world. Who cares about traditional paths, when your little girl gets to be just as excited about your day as you are.Read More
Grace and Tim recently just moved to Philadelphia and they Couldn't be ANY happier. This is a city that they love so much, it only made sense for me to take a trip and revisit this cute little city that is Nuanced with its influences from history mixed in with contemporary architectural styles. The rustic historic parts of Philadelphia is where they love the most, and it is without a doubt the most charming.Read More
Sarah and Russell originally were both grew up here on the east coast, but their studies and careers took them both to the west coast. Over the course of time, they met on the west coast and moved back together to the east coast where I was honored to do their elopement in Schenectady City Hall. It was a rainy day, but it was a perfect day. I was even honored as being a witness! The amount of feels that I got probably couldn't be quantified enough by words. Just take a gander!Read More
Engagement Sessions are super fun, they help couples get comfortable in front of the camera, but I also get to find out more about them, and draw out their personalities and special interests whilst keeping everything casual and focused on them. Its the perfect thing to take up from a photographer if they offer it as part of their wedding packages because it help you get ready for what to expect on the wedding day. Here are some of my favorites from the 2016 Year!Read More
Have I said Fall was my favorite yet? BECAUSE COLORS. It was a beautifully fall day filled with colors and it was almost too much for me to handle all the excitement. It was a beautifully foggy morning. I've been WAITING to do a Foggy Photoshoot FOREVER and this was the perfect morning. I did a scout of this park prior and was hoping for a beautiful sunrise, however as things turn out, Mother Nature had other plans. It was still perfect. Also, Sarah and Matt's outfit was too cute for words, I loved their colors! Its been over 3 years since we first took their photos and I owe it all to them for getting me up and running!Read More
I got to travel to Auburn NY, super cute small town out in West New York and shoot Kristen and Rick's Engagement photos! It was one of the best mornings I've ever had getting to photograph a wedding for some friends of mine. It was a breezy Sunday Morning but it was one of the nicest mornings being so close to the Lake. The Sunrise was gorgeous and the day was amazing. I can't wait for their Wedding at the Spring Side Inn!Read More
FALL IS MY FAVORITE and these two were OWNING their Engagement shoot like a BOSS. PLUS we had an adorable sidekick along with us who just wanted to explore! There were lots to see and lots to do and beautiful colors all over. I can't wait for their wedding at the Troy Kitchen!Read More
It was a good day for a Wedding. They started the day, getting ready with each other, slowly putting together the details of their day attire on and getting ready for portraits. They were getting married in STYLE. We walked around right around the State Capital and Plaza to create gorgeous photos of them in their massively stylish outfit. When it was time to get to the venue, everything was falling into place. We also were doing some Shenanigans with the Wedding Party before the Ceremony... You'll just have to scroll to see the ridiculousness!Read More
