This day was always going to be beautiful and things couldn’t have gone any better on this wedding day! The weather was perfectly blue with a couple smattering of clouds just to keep everyone a little cooler on a hot August day. They both wanted to do a first look (My favorite!) and they were going to do it as a back to back but the one challenge, They both wanted to get ready in the upstairs room with the family that was more important to them.

When they were both ready, we set them up back to back, guided into place down stairs and accross the field until they were super close, hearing each other talk but waiting for MY cue to turn. I love this part, I tend to take a special joy in keeping the tension just a little bit longer so when they actually turn and see each other, the build up would be an AMAZING reaction. This was no exception, and they just couldn’t be any happier seeing each other. A quick practice of their vows and going around laughing during their portraits and then the ceremony.

The Ceremony was a lovely tribute to the things that were so important to them - Family. Between a Brother who officiated the ceremony, Neices who sang and gave readings, a vow to each other AND to Benjamin. The whole thing emotionally moved me to my core, It was just too perfect, I almost felt like I was in a movie with the Happiest of Endings. So Of course, a whole guest list wide shot was in order after the ceremony was over!

With great food, great music from Saratoga Sound, great dancing, and great family, I almost didn’t want to leave!!
